The Sustainable Thermal Energy Systems Research group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary is seeking for a passionate, highly motivated, self-disciplined M.Sc. student for a project in integrated concentrating solar power and pumped thermal energy storage. The department is searching for individuals who are passionate about sustainable energy and who possess excellent problem-solving skills. Other attributes include, strong analytical skills, can work independently, and have excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Applicants must possess the following to be selected for this scholarship
- Meet the entrance and English Language requirements of the University of Calgary.
- You must have experience and proficiency with engineering simulation and programming tools. This includes ANSYS Fluent, TRNSYS, Python, MATLAB, and COMSOL Multiphysics, among others.
- Have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
