Job Title: Senior Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans to efficiently identify, reach, and convert target customers, to achieve 25% month-over-month growth in active users and transaction volume.
  • Build and manage a team of sales representatives to expand Monirates’ user base across key African markets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales-enablement content and lead-generation campaign.
  • Analyze sales data and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Monitor sales performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Represent Monirates at industry events, conferences, and meetings to showcase the product and establish the company as a thought leader in the African fintech space
  • Ensure the sales team provides exceptional customer service and support.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • 25% month-over-month growth in active users and transaction volume
  • Creation of a thriving finance and currency exchange community with high user engagement
  • Successful expansion of Monirates’ footprint into at least 3 new African markets within the first 12 months

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the fintech or payments industry
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully scaling sales teams and meeting/exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in CRM tools and data analysis
  • Familiarity with the African financial services landscape and regulatory environment
  • Fluency in English and at least one other major African language
