Romania Fully Funded Scholarships
Romania fully funded scholarships, is a program of the Romanian Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers Scholarships to foreign citizens to study for Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral Degrees for the 2024 academic year. Each year, the Romanian Government provides scholarships to citizens from non-EU countries.
Only applicants having good results in education, respectively an average of the study years, for the last graduated school, of at least 7 (seven) corresponding to the scoring system in Romania or the “Good” score, as the case, are eligible.
The scholarship applicant can choose from any of the following three study cycles in accredited higher education institutions in Romania:
Bachelors:
These programmes are addressed to graduates of high school studies or pre-university studies at the end of which they obtained a baccalaureate degree or equivalent, as well as candidates applying for further university studies in Romania. The complete programme runs for a period of 3-6 years, depending on the specialization and ends with a Bachelor exam.
Masters:
These programmes are addressed to undergraduates, it runs for a period of 1, 1 year and 6 months or 2 years and ends with a dissertation exam.
Ph.D:
Doctoral programmes are for graduate students or equivalent and run for a period of 3-5 years, depending on the profile of the chosen faculty and ends with the presentation of a Ph.D thesis. In order to be admitted to doctoral studies and to obtain the scholarship, it is compulsory that, prior to submitting the application, the candidate should get the written agreement of the Doctoral Tutor, which must be a member of the doctoral school, and also that he/she passes the admission interview.
