NITDA/Google 2024 Scholarship for Nigerians – Unlock Professional Certifications from Leading Tech Companies and US Universities!

NITDA/Google 2024 Scholarship for Nigerians is a scheme which NITDA and Coursera partners to provide Nigerian citizens with learning scholarships to obtain professional certifications from top tech companies and US universities. On that note, applicants must select one certification program from each of the two categories, A and B. With a focus on in-depth knowledge and practical abilities.

Category A provides 20 professional certification programs that are essential for a successful IT career. Individual course completion results in a certificate, but whole course completion is necessary for professional certification.

In addition to IT career skills, Category B provides four certification programs that improve digital productivity tools, entrepreneurship, and freelancing abilities.

Front-End Developer, Back-End Developer, iOS Developer, Android Developer, User Experience (UX) Specialist, Cloud Computing Professional, Data Engineer, Data Science Professional, Data Analytics Professional, IT Support Specialist, Cybersecurity Professional, DevOps Engineer, Social Media Marketing Specialist, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, Machine Learning Practitioner  System, Game Designer, Game Programmer, Software Testing and Automation Professional, Artificial Intelligence, Practitioner Google Project Management

 CATEGORY B

Career Readiness, Digital Readiness, Entrepreneur Freelancer 

Scholarship Benefit:

  • Successful applicants receive a Coursera license via email.
  • Scholars can join the program and enroll in courses via the provided link.
  • Coursera license is valid for six months.
  • Scholars are expected to complete multiple professional certifications.
  • Only one certification can be enrolled at a time.
  • Core skills include Software Development, UI/UX Design, Data Analysis & Visualization, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Animation, AI / Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Cloud Computing, Dev Ops, and Data Science.

NITDA/Google 2024 Scholarship Eligibility Requirement:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of Nigeria.
  • A valid NIN is needed.
  • A minimum of 16 years of age.
