MTN Science And Technology Scholarship 2024
MTN Nigeria is one of Africa’s leading communication service providers, connecting nearly 77 million people in communities across the country to one another and the rest of the globe. Since 2010, MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS) has been accessible to qualifying 300-level students studying Science and Technology-related courses at Nigerian public tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education). Until graduation, 300 students are offered scholarships, if they meet the grade requirements. Beginning in 2024, the annual prize value will increase from N200,000 to N300,000.
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) and MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) are available to Nigerian students attending Nigerian public tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education). Beginning in 2024, the number of blind students receiving scholarships will increase from 60 to 100.
Additionally, the annual prize money has increased to N300,000 from N200,000, if grade requirements are met, the money will be awarded till graduation.

MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to 300 level students in Science & Technology courses in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.
- Applicable to students completing second semester 200-level exams or currently enrolled in the 300-level.
- Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) requirement: 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class higher credit).
- Higher National Diploma (HND) Program admission requires a minimum CGPA of 3.0 from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program.
- Direct Entry level students must complete the OND program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be admitted into a public university’s 300 level third year.
Blind Students’ Scholarship Requirements:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.5 required in universities/colleges.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) program admission requires a minimum CGPA of 2.0 from OND Program.
- Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) available to 200 & 300 level blind students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.
