The aim of the University of Luxembourg Scholarships is to provide support to disadvantaged young people residing in Luxembourg, with the goal of enhancing their social standing. This initiative is backed by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Research and Higher Education, who are funding a talent support program. The Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship, in particular, targets exceptional international students interested in pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Luxembourg.

The University of Luxembourg encourages applicants to review the admission criteria detailed on the webpage of the Master’s program they’re considering, to guarantee that their application is comprehensive. The two-year program accepts a maximum of 30 successful candidates across three faculties. Begin by submitting your Master’s application through the online admissions portal, ensuring that you include all required documents. Once your application is finalized, it will be sent to the Director of Studies of your chosen Master’s program.

Eligibility Requirements for University of Luxembourg Scholarships:

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the scholarship:

  • Only Master’s programs that conduct their two-year curriculum entirely within Luxembourg are eligible. Master’s programs that require a semester or year of study abroad are not qualified.
  • International candidates, regardless of their origin within the EU or non-EU countries, are welcome to apply for a master’s degree.
  • Outstanding academic achievement during undergraduate studies.
  • Individuals who are not recipients of financial aid from the Luxembourg State for higher education.
  • Full time students.

Required Documents for University of Luxembourg Scholarships:

  • Complete the online form dedicated to the scholarship.
  • Attach a personal statement on your motivations for applying and elaborating on your strengths.
  • Attach two academic recommendation letters.
