KNUST Mastercard Foundation Scholarship

KNUST Mastercard Foundation scholarship, is a Scholars Program at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. It is a partnership between KNUST and the Mastercard Foundation, to train altogether 2,250 scholars over an aggregated 15-year period 750 Scholars in Phase I – 2014-2019 and 1,500 Scholars in Phase II – 2019-2029) to contribute significantly to societal change and the transformation of Africa.

KNUST Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, provides access to quality education to qualified academically talented yet economically disadvantaged young people in deprived communities of Ghana and Africa and empower them to give-back to community.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • All Applicants must have a genuine and valid WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE O Level and A Level or their equivalent results from an accredited/recognized institutions. Applicant’s results must not be more than five years old. NO AWAITING RESULTS candidate will be processed for the scholarship.
  • The Applicant must demonstrate that he/she has Critical Economic Needs.
  • The Applicant must have Proven Records of Leadership and Community Engagement(s).
  • The Applicant must be prepared to Go-Back and Give-Back to his or her Community.
  • The Applicant must NOT be enrolled in any tertiary institution.

Required Documents:

  • Original Certificates for Senior High School results (such as WASSCE or GBCE or ABCE or GCE O’Level and A’Level or their equivalent Results).
  • The printout of your application for admission at KNUST (if available).
  • Application form.
