About Chinese Government Scholarship:
The Chinese University Program is a full scholarship program offered by recognized Chinese institutions and provincial education agencies in particular provinces or autonomous regions to attract excellent overseas students to graduate studies in China.

Scholarship Benefits:
- Full scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance.
- Comprehensive insurance & protection scheme for international students, staying in China available.
- Partial scholarship covers one or some items of the full scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must meet BNU Admission Brochure requirements.
- No preparatory Chinese language courses for Chinese-taught MA or PhD programs.
- HSK certificate required according to program admission requirement
- There must be no other scholarships held by applicants.
- Degree and age requirements: high school graduate (25 for undergraduates), bachelor’s degree holder (35 for master’s), master’s degree holder (40 for doctoral programs).
Application Process:
- Follow BNU admission instructions and prepare application documents.
- Use the “BNU International Student Application System” for online application and payment.
- Read Chinese Government Scholarship Information System instructions.
- Register on CSC’s website and complete Application Form.
- Choose Type B for new student application.
- Re-submit form if any modifications are made.
- Submit all application documents to BNU before the deadline.
Application Documents:
- Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (in Chinese or English).
- Copy of Passport Home Page.
- Notarized highest diploma.
- Academic transcripts from undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
- Language qualification certificates.
- Pre-admission documents issued by the Chinese university of preference.
- Enrolment letter or invitation letter.
- Study plan proposal in Chinese or English.
- Recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
- Valid documents of legal guardians in China.
- Photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English.
- Non-criminal record report.
