2024 NNPCL/CHEVRON JV National University Scholarship Award

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), a joint venture partner of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), is providing a number of university scholarship awards to qualifying Nigerian students throughout all states of the federation. The scholarship program is an important component of our strategic social commitment in Nigeria’s educational development.

Scholarship Category:

Undergraduate

Scholarship Benefit:

Sum of 200,000 Annually.

Eligible Courses:

Full-time, SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students pursuing any of the following disciplines in Nigerian universities:
(Keep in mind that these are candidates admitted for the academic year 2022/2023. Please verify which academic session you fall into before finishing your application.

  • Accountancy
  • Agricultural Science
  • Architecture
  • Business Administration/Economics
  • Computer Science
  • Environmental Studies/Surveying
  • Geology/Geophysics/Geo Informatics
  • Law
  • Mass Communication/Journalism
  • Engineering
  • Dentistry
  • Pharmacy
  • Medicine/Surgery 

Applicant Must;

  • Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems. 
  • Have a minimum of six O-level credits in one sitting.  

The NNPCL/Chevron Joint Venture also provides scholarships for blind/visually impaired SECOND YEAR (200 LEVEL) degree students pursuing any course in Nigerian universities.

Applicant Must;

  • Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in a 5.0 grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems. 
  • Have a minimum of five O-level credits.

  • Passport photograph not more than 6 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
  • School ID card
  • Admission Letter
  • Birth Certificate 
  • O’ Level Result
  • JAMB Result
  • Local Government Area Letter of Identification
